Why you should use you IKEA Family Card EVERY time you shop
If you don’t have an IKEA Family card you should get one. I understand most people don’t want to signup for anymore junk mail, however the emails you get from IKEA aren’t necessarily junk. YES, you will get the occasional email about family offers, event, and recalls. Nevertheless the benefit of the IKEA family card is the 90 day price guarantee and the fact that IKEA stores your receipt.
If you didn’t know IKEA has updated their return policy to 180 days, reality is I can’t remember where I put a receipt 3 days ago I wouldn’t know where to begin if I needed to return something 3 months from now.
If for any reason you need to return your product to IKEA, you don’t need to take it apart, you don’t need the box, but you do need you receipt and if you scanned your IKEA family card when you made you purchase – you’re good.
